Step 2: Complete the Screening Process

Once you meet our simple requirements, you can undergo the screening process.

This process has been streamlined to be as smooth and straightforward as possible while prioritizing your safety. The health and lifestyle requirements were put in place to help ensure you are ready to become a surrogate with no complications.

Step 3: Find the Best Intended Parents

Finding the perfect match is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make as a surrogate. Only you can know who the perfect match is but we can help you get there.

We’ve got decades of experience with creating families and we will be there for every step of your journey, including finding the best intended parents.

Step 4: Draft a Surrogacy Contract

Once you find the perfect match, both parties need separate legal representation to draft a surrogacy contract.

This legal contract helps lay out the journey ahead, everything from surrogate pay to what happens if a miscarriage occurs.

This contract must be signed by both parties to proceed.

Step 5: Prepare for the Embryo Transfer And Give the Gift of Parenthood

First, you’ll take a regimen of fertility medications designed to prepare your body for pregnancy. Pregnancy is achieved through in vitro fertilization (IVF).

This process involves creating an embryo by using the eggs from the intended mother and sperm from the intended father, combining the two in a laboratory dish to create a fertilized embryo. That embryo, or embryos, is then transferred to your uterus once the conditions are right.

Once a pregnancy is confirmed, you can begin receiving your monthly compensation.

After you give birth, you can return home with the pride of knowing that you’ve created an opportunity of a lifetime for the intended parents while being able to transform the lives of you and your family too. You’ll always be a part of that family’s story.

Other Things to Know About Becoming a Surrogate in Port St. Lucie

Surrogacy Laws and Legal Professionals

There is a defined process in which surrogacy is feasible in Florida, with surrogacy permitted by statute but with certain stipulations.

Gestational surrogacy contracts, for example, aren’t enforceable unless the intended parents are married and all parties involved are 18 years or older.

Pre-birth parentage orders aren’t required but are usually only available to married couples (same-sex or heterosexual) where at least one intended parent shares a genetic relationship with the baby.

A post-birth adoption must be completed to terminate your rights and to establish the intended parents as parents, if it’s a traditional surrogacy or if neither intended parent is genetically related to the baby.
