Surrogate Compensation Breakdown

Your compensation package extends far beyond a single payment. Your total compensation includes both base pay for carrying the pregnancy and additional payments that recognize the ongoing commitments and expenses of your journey.

Base Pay: Your Primary Compensation

Your base compensation serves as your primary payment for carrying the pregnancy. Rather than receiving one lump sum, your base pay is distributed in ten monthly installments after pregnancy confirmation.

Additional Compensation: Beyond Base Pay

Beyond your base compensation, you'll receive various allowances and milestone payments that acknowledge the full scope of your commitment. These cover:

  • Fertility medications

  • Medical procedures

  • Maternity clothing

  • Self-care

  • Travel

  • Counseling

  • And more

“Coming into this as a surrogate, I didn't realize there were additional benefits on top of base pay," said Tasha, a former surrogate and one of our surrogacy specialists. "For some surrogates I've talked with, it kind of blows their mind. They didn't realize they'd be getting all these additional things."

Your Surrogate Payment Schedule: What to Expect

Once your contract is signed and legal requirements are met, you'll start receiving a monthly stipend. This ensures you're compensated for your time and commitment from the very beginning of your journey. it will continue until six to eight weeks after delivery.

The moment pregnancy is confirmed, your base compensation begins. It will be divided into 10 equal monthly installments throughout your pregnancy. This monthly payment system helps you manage your finances and provides the security of knowing exactly when to expect each payment.

Additional expenses and milestone payments are processed as they occur throughout your journey. Travel reimbursements for medical appointments, compensation for specific medical procedures and other payments are handled promptly. You won't have to wonder about the financial side of the process.
